Houston police say three people have been found dead at an apartment.
The Houston Fire Department contacted police about the bodies Monday morning.
Police spokesman John Cannon had no immediate information on why firefighters were at the scene, shortly before 9:30 a.m. CST Monday, or who summoned emergency personnel.
Details weren't immediately released on causes of death or identities of the three individuals.
Homicide investigators were dispatched to the apartment in west Houston.
