Police in the Houston suburb of Pearland say a second toddler has died at a hospital after she and her twin sister were found unresponsive in a bathtub.
Police and paramedics responded last week to a residence after a woman called 911 to say she found her two 15-month-old daughters in the bathtub.
The twins were taken by helicopter to a hospital where one of the girls was pronounced dead. Her sister was taken off life support Sunday evening and died a short time later.
Harris County medical examiners are conducting autopsies on each child.
Police and the Brazoria County district attorney's office are continuing their investigation of the deaths.
