2.7-Magnitude Earthquake Strikes Irving

    Dozens of earthquakes have been reported in recent months near the former site of Texas Stadium, between state highways 114 and 183 and Loop 12 in Irving.

    Another earthquake struck North Texas Thursday morning and could be felt in Irving and Las Colinas.

    The U.S. Geological Survey confirmed that the 2.7 magnitude earthquake struck near West Northwest Highway between Spangler Road and Newkirk Street at 5:38 a.m.

    No damage has been reported.
