Police say two people have died and two others were sent to the hospital after a crash in Garland early Saturday morning.
According to police, the driver of a black sedan was speeding and ran through a stop sign at the intersection of Cornell Drive and North Yale Drive after 1 a.m.
The car, which was carrying three people, crashed into another sedan. The driver and passenger in the black car were found dead on the scene, police said.
A third passenger and the driver of the second car were taken to the hospital with undisclosed injuries.
Investigators were working to determine whether alcohol was a factor in the crash.
