A person was killed Saturday night around 11:30 p.m. when he drove off the road in the 700 block of eastbound West Clarendon Avenue and crashed into a creek, police say.
Police said that Cesar Covarrubias, 22, was driving a 2003 Ford Explorer when he did not turn in time and drove through a wooded area. He then dropped down a 30-foot embankment into a creek. He was ejected from the car and died of blunt force trauma at the scene.
Police say that next of Kin has been notified.
