A North Texas family has filed a lawsuit against one of the egg manufacturers from the August recall.
Jacob Tucker's family says the Sachse preschooler became violently ill after helping his grandmother bake a cake made with eggs distributed by Wright County Egg.
The boy spent a week in the hospital with high fever and vomiting and a bone infection they say was caused by salmonella bacteria.
The family is suing for an undetermined amount of punitive damages.
