A Keller-based company is giving more than a million people a larger-than-life view of the upcoming inauguration.
GoVision is teaming up with Daktronics to provide four giant mobile video screens for the historic event, including the largest mobile high-definition screen in the world.
The screens will be displayed on each side of the stage where President-elect Barack Obama will take the oath of office.
The GoVision screens will broadcast the moment on the screens to crowds of more than a million people in our nation's capital.
βA historic event of this magnitude deserves the biggest and best video production possible,β Chris Curtis, CEO of GoVision told LEDs Magazine. βWeβre honored to be entrusted with this vital element of the inauguration once again, and look forward to giving the record-breaking crowd a front-row seat to all the festivities.β
GoVision also provided four large screens for George W. Bush's second inauguration in 2005.
GoVision will also provide mobile units for a watching party in Chicago's Grant Park for Obama's hometown crowd.
