North Texas Company Recalls Beef Chile Frozen Meals

McKinney-based Blount Fine Foods, Corp., is recalling about 8,685 pounds of Beef Chile Colorado frozen meals due to a labeling issue, the company announced Wednesday.

The recall was issued for Beef Chile Colorado meals that contain cheese enchiladas made with milk. The products did not include milk on the product label warning people with dairy allergies.

Consumers who purchased "Safron Road Beef Chile Colorado with mesquite black beans & garlic rice" with best buy dates of 05/23/18 should throw the meals away or returned to the store.

The meals were shipped to distribution centers in Pennsylvania and Texas.

Blount Fine Foods said it received a consumer complaint alerting to the issue. There have been no confirmed reports of allergic reactions, Blount said.
