Sign up for our newsletters here.Ezekiel Elliott's latest legal move frees him up to play Sunday against the ChiefsThe latest legal maneuver by Ezekeil Elliott's defense team worked, and now the Cowboys running back will be available to play Sunday against the Chiefs.The 2nd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals on Friday morning granted Elliott a stay of his 6-game punishment by the NFL. Elliott's side filed supporting documents on Thursday in appeals court, asking for an injunction pending an expedited appeal. They also asked specifically for a brief administrative stay for consideration of their motion so that Elliott can play Sunday. They'd laid out their strategy to do so in court filings Wednesday.Because the order is a stay, it is just a temporary move.
