Elliott's side filed supporting documents on Thursday in appeals court, asking for an injunction pending an expedited appeal. They also asked specifically for a brief administrative stay for consideration of their motion so that Elliott can play Sunday. They'd laid out their strategy to do so in court filings Wednesday.Because the order is a stay, it is just a temporary move.
