Yellow Hummer Reportedly Plunges Into Turtle Creek, Dallas Fire-Rescue Says

Dallas Fire-Rescue crews responded to a water rescue call after a yellow Hummer reportedly plunged into Turtle Creek in the Oak Lawn area. Units were assigned to the incident in the 3200 block of Turtle Creek Boulevard, near North Hall Street, just after 10 a.m., Dallas Fire-Rescue spokesman Jason Evans said. It's unclear how the vehicle became partially submerged in the water, but the driver did appear to be OK, he said. Despite the request for a boat to assist, first responders were able to pull the man out from the vehicle. Medics evaluated him before he was transported to a hospital out of precaution, Evans said.
