Woman Fatally Shot as She Got Home From Work in Garland, Police Say

A 20-year-old woman was shot and killed in her front yard as she arrived at her Garland home from work early Friday morning.Jocelyn Sarabia-Marlon was transported to Baylor University Medical Center at Dallas where she was pronounced dead, police said.Officers found her with a gunshot wound in the front yard of home in the 900 block of E. Linda Drive about 1:30 a.m., police said.Investigators are trying to figure out what lead to the murder.Anyone with information can call Garland police at 972-485-4840.
