Woman Faces Murder Charge in 9-year-old Niece's Death, Mansfield Police Say

Mansfield police will pursue a murder charge against a woman in connection with her 9-year-old niece's death this weekend, authorities said Wednesday. Mercia Sneed, 40, was initially arrested on a charge of injury to a child after officers were called Saturday afternoon to a home in the 4200 block of Eagle Drive, where they were told CPR was being performed on the child, Melodi Sneed.  Continue reading...
