Weatherford Couple Arrested After Drugs Found Near Child

A Weatherford couple was arrested and their child turned over to Child Protective Services after drugs were found in the home Thursday, Parker County Sheriff's officials said.James Robert Minshew, 33, of Weatherford, was charged with manufacture delivery of a controlled substance. Chelsea Jo Garcia, 25, of Fort Worth, was charged with possession of a controlled substance.The two were arrested after deputies received an anonymous tip about drug use inside a home with a child present. Deputies found bags of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia when they arrived around 5 p.m. at a home in the 5300 block of FM51 North. No age was given for the child.  Continue reading...
