Watch: Fort Worth Officers Buy 95-year-old WWII Vet New Air Conditioner

When two Fort Worth officers were dispatched to the sweltering home of a World War II veteran, they promised to help - even though it's a bit outside their job descriptions. After 95-year-old Julius Hatley's air conditioner went out, he tried to power through by sitting on his shaded porch, but it became unbearable Thursday, CBS News reports. That's when Hatley contacted police. "This wasn't a regular 911 call," Fort Worth Officer William Margolis told CBS.
