Warren Buffett Calls This Fort Worth Company a ‘towering Redwood.' Here's Why

In his annual investor letter over the weekend, Warren Buffett singled out Fort Worth-based BNSF Railway as one of his holding company's "towering redwoods."In a year that otherwise proved challenging for the famed investor, Buffett heaped praise on the railroad that operates 32,500 miles of track in 28 states. BNSF's financials tell the story:Revenue rose 11.5 percent to $23.9 billion in 2018.
