'Disturbing' voter fraud allegations inspire Ken Paxton to team up with Dallas County DAAttorney General Ken Paxton announced Wednesday that he will team up with the Dallas County district attorney's office to investigate voter fraud in Dallas County elections. In a joint news conference, Paxton called the allegations of voter fraud in West Dallas and Grand Prairie "disturbing." The case caused 700 suspicious mail-in ballots to be sequestered.The Dallas County district attorney's office continues to lead the investigation. It has identified two men as people of interest: Sidney Williams, 33, and Jose Barrientos, 50.Meanwhile: The Dallas City Council voted Wednesday to approve plans for a $400,000 memorial honoring the five police officers who were killed in last year's ambush downtown.  Continue reading...
