Trump, Claiming ‘treason' in Plots Against Him, Heads to Texas to Scoop Up $6 Million in San Antonio and Houston

WASHINGTON -- President Donald Trump's fund-raisers later today in San Antonio and Houston will bring in $6 million.Republican National Committee chairwoman Ronna Romney McDaniel revealed the expected tally to reporters aboard Air Force One, shortly before takeoff for Texas. Trump meets privately with supporters at noon in San Antonio at The Argyle, before speaking at a closed-door lunch with donors at a joint fundraiser to benefit his campaign and the RNC.It's unclear how much the haul will be split between the Trump's campaign and the party.Julián Castro, a former San Antonio mayor and housing secretary during the second term of Barack Obama, is organizing a "People First" rally in San Antonio on Wednesday night as a show of force against Trump, though the president will be long gone by then.  Continue reading...
