This Suburban Farmers Market Is Blossoming With Fresh Cut Flowers and Flavorful Texas Produce

As the spring growing season blossoms locally, so do the farmers markets, and Coppell is a great example of so many things done right.First, the Coppell Farmers Market vets its farmers and ranchers, so you know you're talking to the person who grew or raised the meat, flowers or produce you're buying. Last Saturday, I was thrilled to find tomatoes bursting with flavor from Weathertop Farm near Forestburg and from Embry Family Farm near Emory. Farmers also had strawberries, carrots, beets, spring onions, gorgeous greens and lettuces, mushrooms and more.
