Texas Toll Dodger Used a Gadget Straight Out of James Bond to Duck $5,000 in Fees, Cops Say

A Texas man is facing more than $5,000 in overdue toll fees after officials said he used a license plate flipper to avoid being charged.Preston Cody Talbot, 27, was arrested Thursday after police found the illegal device on his rear license plate during a traffic stop. Talbot owes $5473.07 in toll fees, Harris County Constable Mark Herman said in a Facebook post.Because of the overdue fees, Talbot was prohibited from driving on the toll road.
