Tesla Seeks Electric Car Gallery in New Upscale Fort Worth Shopping Center

A new gallery for luxury electric car maker Tesla appears to be one of the next high-end retailers coming to The Shops at Clearfork in west Fort Worth.The California-based carmaker, which uses galleries to show off its vehicles for online purchase rather than selling its models through dealerships, has applied for a construction permit at the new upscale shopping center. The Shops at Clearfork is part of a mixed-use retail and residential development wedged between Hulen Street and Chisholm Trail Parkway.A lease map recently provided to merchants in the Clearfork development indicates that Tesla is committed to approximately 4,000 square feet at 5154 Monahans Avenue, five doors east of the Neiman Marcus store that opened earlier this year.  Continue reading...
