Suspect Takes Car in Grand Prairie, Arrested in Rockwall Sewer System

A burglary suspect who fled Grand Prairie in a stolen vehicle was arrested in Rockwall after fleeing police for several hours on Wednesday morning.The suspect had taken a car around 1:30 a.m. that was reported stolen in Nevada and drove it from Grand Prairie to Rockwall, where he abandoned the vehicle and fled, Rockwall police said.He went into a drainage ditch in the 1000 block of Interstate 30, where he was hemmed in by police and arrested around 7:30 a.m. near Ralph Hall Parkway.Police did not provide identification on the suspect.  Continue reading...
