Silver Alert: 82-year-old Man With Cognitive Impairment Last Seen in DeSoto

A Silver Alert has been issued for an 82-year-old man with a cognitive impairment. Willie Ivey was last seen about 10 a.m. Tuesday walking in the 1100 block of Rosemont Drive, near South Cockrell Hill and West Parkerville roads, in DeSoto. Ivey is a 5-foot-8 black man who weighs about 150 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes and is missing front teeth, officials said. He walks with a cane and was wearing a blue baseball cap, glasses, a brown and blue plaid shirt and blue jeans.Law enforcement thinks Ivey's disappearance poses a credible threat to his own health and safety.
