A shooting suspect fled after injuring two people near a deli in east Oak Cliff late Tuesday night. Officers were dispatched to the 3500 block of East Illinois Avenue, near Interstate 45, about 10:45 p.m. They found several bullet casing outside the store and along Fordham Road. The man and woman who were shot were transported to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The police department's crime scene and gang units were also on scene.
