Shooter at Large After Wounding Partygoer in Mesquite, Police Say

A 16-year-old boy was wounded after a dispute between partygoers Saturday night in Mesquite, police said. Officers were called about 9:30 p.m. to a house party in the 800 block of Forestbrook Drive, near Clay Mathis Road, where the teen had been shot. He was transported to Baylor University Medical Center and is in stable condition, police said. No arrests have been made.
