A stormy Thursday gave way to a rainy Friday across Dallas-Fort Worth, but the weekend is looking close to perfect.Heavy rain began before dawn Friday, making for a messy morning commute and putting low-lying areas at risk to flood. Rainfall totals should add up to half an inch up to three-quarters in some spots.Unlike Thursday, however, there's little to no severe weather in the forecast, aside from a few especially strong storms in the southernmost counties.After a 100 percent chance of rain to start the day, the showers and isolated thunderstorms will continue into the afternoon and taper off by this evening.
