Rain Possible Saturday Evening

Tonight will be seasonably chilly and dry.Clouds will increase ahead of our next rainmaker on Saturday. The best opportunity for rain will be Saturday evening into Saturday night. The better chance will be east of Dallas. Highs over the weekend will be in the 60s. Dry and mild weather will be common Sunday through next Thursday.A strong cold front will arrive Friday morning with highs only in the 40s. The cold air will remain in the area through Christmas with a chance of some wintry precipitation next weekend. It's too early to get into specifics, including what type of precip (rain, snow, or something in between) we could see ... if anything at all. At this point, the main take away is that a significant pattern change with cold air and a chance for some moisture is coming our way as we move toward Christmas. It will be worth paying attention to, especially if traveling. Expect more details as we get closer. TONIGHT: Partly cloudy and chilly. Low: 38. Wind: S 5 mph.
