A man accused of leading officers on a chase before barricading himself in a Mesquite home has been taken into custody,.Dallas police said they sent a SWAT team to help get the man out of a home in the 4100 block of Flamingo Way, near Bahamas Drive in northwestern Mesquite. The standoff lasted from about 9:30 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. The man's name has not been released. Mesquite police did not immediately respond to a request for information. Continue reading...
