Panhandler Whose Murder Weapon Was Steel-toed Boots Gets 25 Years in Prison

A panhandler was sentenced to 25 years in prison for stomping and killing one of his homeless friends over $20 outside a Dallas fast food restaurant. Witnesses said Frank Blaes was yelling, "I will kill you," while he kicked and beat 58-year-old Gerry Lynn Norman in November 2016 outside a Wendy's near UT Southwestern Medical Center.
