Northbound I-35E at a Standstill After Tanker Wrecks, Spills Fuel

Northbound Interstate 35E was backed up for miles Wednesday afternoon in northwest Dallas after a tanker truck spilled diesel fuel on the highway.The crash at I-35E and Interstate 635 was reported around 11:30 a.m. Around 12:30 p.m., traffic was backed up past Manana Drive, two miles to the south.A tanker truck involved in the wreck was carrying thousands of gallons of diesel, according to KDFW-TV (Channel 4), and the fuel was spilling onto the interstate. WFAA-TV (Channel 8) reported that another truck was involved in the crash.All northbound lanes of I-35E were closed at I-635, as well as the I-635 exit ramps to northbound I-35E.
