A batch of showers and thunderstorms is expected to affect North Texas this morning. Eventually these showers will fall apart but not before blanketing much of DFW with some wet conditions through mid-morning. Rain chances will hold on until midday and then dry weather is expected into the afternoon. The weekend looks sunny and quite warm.
