Today will be another hot and humid day across North Texas with the afternoon heat index between 100-103. Skies will be mostly sunny with rain-free conditions. Changes are around the corner though. Late tonight a cold front will move down from Oklahoma and across the Red River. Scattered thunderstorms will likely accompany this front early Wednesday morning. Temperatures will be a little cooler tomorrow as well.The weekend rain chances hinge on possible development down in the Gulf of Mexico. If this system continues to organize it could become Tropical Storm Harvey. Some of the models bring this system to the Texas coast.
