NBC 5 Forecast: Weak Cold Front Arrives This Evening

Cloudy skies returned on Wednesday, with a weak cold front generating some patchy light showers or drizzle through the evening. Expect only a minor drop in temperatures on Thursday. Warmer weather will return briefly on Friday. The next cold fronts, that arrive on Saturday morning and next Tuesday night, will be much stronger, and will bring sharply cooler temperatures to North Texas.Looking ahead to a big travel week prior to Thanksgiving, the weather around North Texas doesn't look bad at all. There could be a few showers on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving, but the rest of the Holiday period looks dry and significantly cooler.Be aware though, that there are some significant differences in the forecast models for Thanksgiving week.
