Navy Vet Won't Let Truck Thief Get Away Without a Fight

A man trying to steal a truck found out just how tough veterans can be -- even decades after their service.Allan Huddleston, 69, was going through his usual morning routine on Jan. 15 as he stopped off at a convenience store in the 7300 block of Airport Freeway to pick up a newspaper.That's when a man approached him asking for money, but want he really wanted was his truck, Huddleston told KDFW-TV (Channel 4). Huddleston, a Navy veteran who fought in Vietnam, wound up in a fight with the younger man, who eventually stole his keys and wallet and took off in Huddleston's truck.  Continue reading...
