A music teacher at an Irving elementary school under investigation after allegations of "unwanted" contact now faces a charge of indecency with a child.Edmund Charles Barrera, 50, was booked into the Irving jail Monday on one count of indecency with a child by sexual contact. His bail is set at $50,000.Police began investigating last week after reports of simple assault involving several students were made against Barrera. There were no allegations of sexual abuse at that time, police emphasized.During the investigation, however, a 10-year-old girl made an outcry about alleged sexual contact, police said Monday.
