Motorcyclist Was Intoxicated in West Oak Cliff Crash That Killed Passenger, Police Say

An intoxicated motorcyclist is to blame for a West Oak Cliff crash that killed her passenger early Thursday, Dallas police say.The 22-year-old motorcyclist, who had a passenger sitting behind her, crashed about 2:20 a.m. while traveling west on West Davis Street. Police said the two lost control while speeding and were thrown off the motorcycle, landing on Fort Worth Avenue.The women were taken to Methodist Dallas Medical Center, where the passenger was pronounced dead and the driver was taken into custody. She remained in the hospital through Thursday morning, guarded by police.Her name hasn't been released. Police said they were working to identify the passenger.  Continue reading...
