Most-wanted Fugitive Who Committed Dallas County Robbery Is Caught in Georgia

One of Texas' most-wanted fugitives — a man convicted of aggravated robbery in Dallas County — was arrested in Georgia last week.A Brownsville native, Agapito Salinas was convicted in 2003 and served 11 years out of his 15-year sentence before being released on parole to Cameron County in 2014. He violated his parole the following year and was subsequently placed on the most-wanted list. U.S. Marshals, with the assistance of local authorities, apprehended Salinas in Alma, Ga., on Thursday.Salinas was arrested multiple times in the 1990s and served time for several drug and burglary convictions. During his time behind bars, Salinas became a member of the Texas Syndicate prison gang.Salinas' capture was the 13th arrest in 2017 from the Texas 10 most-wanted fugitive and sex offender lists.   Continue reading...
