A mother was struck and killed and her teenage daughter was injured late Friday as they pushed their stalled SUV off a frontage road in Royse City.The crash happened about 9:40 p.m. as the pair pushed their disabled vehicle off the service road of Interstate 30, police say.An eastbound van struck them and the SUV, critically injuring mother and daughter, according to police. The woman was taken to Lake Point Medical Center in Rowlett, where she later died. The daughter was taken to Children's Medical Center Dallas with life-threatening injuries.It's unclear whether the van driver was injured or could face charges. Continue reading...
