Man With Cerebral Palsy Could Lose Legs After Oak Cliff Hit-and-run

As Joey Salas pushed his wheelchair down 12th Street in Oak Cliff Tuesday night after leaving the La Calle Doce restaurant, a pickup truck slammed into him, then took off.The truck crushed his legs already weak from cerebral palsy, and left his motorized wheelchair mangled.When the 42-year-old woke up, he was in a hospital surrounded by family and friends with his legs heavily bandaged.  Continue reading...
