A Tarrant County man has been sentenced to 50 years in prison for repeatedly raping a child who prosecutors say he later tried to have killed.Kylil Jamall Killian, 20, of Crowley was found guilty Wednesday of continuous sexual abuse of a child and indecency with a child by sexual contact after a Collin County jury deliberated for less than an hour. He will not have the possibility of parole.An 11-year-old girl notified a school counselor in April that Killian had sexually assaulted her several times during the previous year. She later disclosed more details about the abuse during an interview at the Children's Advocacy Center of Collin County.Authorities arrested Killian in Arkansas on April 12, and he has remained in custody since then.During the punishment phase of his trial, prosecutors gave evidence that they said showed Killian tried to have others kill the girl to prevent the case from progressing."This case provides an example that our citizens are going to hold child predators accountable and are committed to protecting children in our community," said Dan Powers said, chief operating officer of the advocacy center.
