Man Stomped on Boxer Puppy Until Its Legs and Hips Were Fractured, Wylie Police Say

Wylie police say a 27-year-old man stomped on and threw a puppy until its legs and hips were fractured.Andrew Lacy Callaway was arrested Sunday on a charge of cruelty to non-livestock animals — torture. He was released from the Collin County Jail after posting $15,000 bond later that day.Police were called to the 600 block of East Oak Street on Tuesday after several people reported seeing a man stomping on a puppy, according to KXAS-TV (NBC5).Officers seized the pup, a Boxer named Diesel, and took it to the Richardson Animal Shelter for evaluation.
