Man Found Guilty in Bizarre East Texas Campsite Slaying of 6

Brazos County jurors took just 17 minutes to find a man guilty Tuesday in the brutal killings of six acquaintances in East Texas in 2015.William Mitchell Hudson, 35, was convicted of capital murder in a bizarre case that garnered national media attention. Hudson killed six people Nov. 14, 2015 in a wooded area outside of Palestine. The victims were Thomas Kamp, 46; his partner, Hannah Johnson, 40; and her son Kade, 6, all of Midlothian, who were camping. They were joined for the weekend by Kamp's two sons, Nathan, 23, and Austin, 21, of California; and Johnson's parents, Carl Johnson, 76, and Cynthia Johnson.  Continue reading...
