Man Found Dead in Pickup Was Slain, Midlothian Police Say

Police in Midlothian say that a man found dead in a pickup Monday morning was slain.Officers were called to the 1100 block of Auger Road around 7:30 a.m. for a report of an unconscious person. They found a man's body in a pickup on a dirt road just off Auger.The man was identified Tuesday afternoon as James A. Morris, 52, of Alvarado.Police said that Morris was killed, but that the slaying apparently took place somewhere other than where his body was found.Anyone with information about the case is asked to call police at 972-775-3333.  Continue reading...
