Hunt's Tomato Paste Recalled Over Possible Mold Contamination

Conagra Brands, Inc., is voluntarily recalling a limited amount of 6-ounce cans of Hunt's Tomato Paste because of a potential mold presence possibly created during the canning process.Calls from consumers alerted Conagra to the problem in some of its no salt-added tomato paste, according to the U.S. Food & Drug Administration.The recalled cans were sold all over the U.S. and have a best-by date of Oct. 16, 2020, and an Item UPC code of 00-0-27000-38807-5. No other Hunt's products are impacted by this recall.Consumers should either throw away the product or return it to the store they bought it from, the FDA said.
