Here’s What Eight Dallas Women, All Republican Activists, Have to Say About Trump’s ‘go Back’ Tweets

Eight Republican women from Dallas appeared on CNN Tuesday night to defend President Donald Trump's comments toward four congresswomen of color. The women, some of whom have campaigned for Trump, all said his tweet was not racist. On Sunday, the president tweeted that the congresswomen should "go back and help fix the totally broken and crime infested places from which they came."Trump never mentioned specific congresswomen, but it is believed he was referring to New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Michigan Rep. Rashida Tlaib, Massachusetts Rep. Ayanna Pressley and Minnesota Rep. Ilhan Omar, who have been outspoken critics.   Continue reading...
