‘Hamilton' Is Coming to Fort Worth, Here's How to (quickly) Get Your Tickets

Dallas just wasn't enough. The Broadway sensation Hamilton offered yet another example of its reach and power on Wednesday, when officials for Bass Performance Hall in Fort Worth announced that they have landed the show as the anchor of their 2019-2020 season. In an announcement shared with The Dallas Morning News, Hamilton will play Fort Worth from June 9 through June 28 of next year. Since its 2015 Broadway premiere, Hamilton has won the Pulitzer Prize for drama, a Grammy Award and 11 Tony awards. "We are really thrilled to be bringing it to Fort Worth," said Dione Kennedy, president and CEO of Performing Arts Fort Worth. Hamilton will make its North Texas debut with Dallas Summer Musicals at the Music Hall at Fair Park, where it will open April 2 and run through May 5. Kenneth T. Novice, the president of Dallas Summer Musicals, said Tuesday that tickets for the Dallas shows are still available via the DSM website.
