Grandfather Stabbed to Death by Grandson at Fort Worth Home, Police Say

A male fatally stabbed his grandfather and assaulted his mother Thursday evening in Fort Worth, police said. Officers were dispatched about 7:15 p.m.to a cutting call in the 3400 block of Roddy Drive, near McCart Avenue. The grandfather was pronounced dead on scene, police said. The mother and grandson were both taken to an area hospital with injuries not thought to be life-threatening. Police did not provide the extent of their injuries.
