Garland Mayor Says Parks Board, Other Volunteers Left Out in Plans to Reroute $2 Million Dog and Skate Park Facility

Earlier this year, Garland officials thought they were going to build a $2 million dog and skate park at Tuckerville Park in east Garland.But the City Council voted down that plan in July, saying that infrastructure for the undeveloped park would be too expensive. Instead, they instructed city staff to propose a different site.
