Garland Man Arrested After Chase Near Northwest Dallas Dealership

A 41-year-old Garland man was arrested Wednesday after fleeing from officers on foot in a chase that ended near a northwest Dallas car dealership, officials said. Victor Pinson reportedly fled on foot from Texas Department of Public Safety agents who were conducting an investigation about 3 p.m. near the 2600 block of Forest Lane, Lt. Lonny Haschel said. The man hid in a small local business and Dallas police and SWAT were called to assist, he said. Pinson was taken into custody without incident at 5:30 p.m.Pinson will be booked into the Dallas County Jail and faces a charge of criminal conspiracy and evading arrest.   Continue reading...
