Frisco Seniors Community Will Have Bungalows and Cottages

A Texas-based apartment developer has started construction on a senior living community in Frisco.Presidium's Artistry at Edgestone rental community will have 188 units with independent living cottages.The 18-acre development in includes a 3-story residential building with elevators and seven 1-story bungalows.The development is scheduled to open in the summer of 2020.The age-restricted community includes multi-purpose clubrooms, a resort-style swimming pool, fitness and wellness center, library and cyber lounge, media and game rooms, hair salon and an arts and crafts center.Outside there are pavilions, a bocce ball court, a walking trail, dog park and a resident gardening area."The spacious community was designed to offer residents an open environment, and with its prime location - being nestled within some of the most impressive parks and walking trails in the country, it is perfect for mature adults," John Griggs, Co-CEO and Co-Founder of Presidium, said in a statement.Presidium is currently building more than 1,100 apartment units and plans to break ground on another 1,700 units in the next 12 months.
