A Frisco man suspected in a murder-for-hire plot against his former business partner was arrested Friday and is in federal custody, officials announced. Eskandar Molavi, 69, is charged with one count of solicitation of kidnapping and one count of attempted kidnapping, Erin Nealy Cox, the U.S. Attorney for the Northern District of Texas said.He was ordered Tuesday to remain in custody pending his trial.Molavi reportedly approached a man whom he thought was a pilot for a Mexican drug trafficking organization. Molavi reportedly gave the agent the partner's name, home and business addresses and information related to the location of the school that the partner's daughter attended. He also told the agent that if his former partner did not sign over the business, the agent should kill him, officials said. The agent told Molavi the price for a murder was $50,000. After the meeting, Molavi asked the person he thought was a cartel pilot if he would be able to get Molavi a gun and a silencer in the event that the agent could not get the former partner to sign over the business, officials said.   Continue reading...
